Ledger has announced that it has fully addressed the issue that led to the hack.
According to the company’s CEO Pascal Gauthier, the vulnerability was caused by a phishing attack on a former employee’s data.
Ledger said the malicious code has been deactivated and it is now safe to use Ledger Connect.
The attacker managed to steal about $484,000 in crypto, according to the analytical company PeckShield.
Tether promptly froze the attacker’s wallet with a balance of $27,000.
