Since mid-May, Israel has imported about 220,000 barrels of oil per day, of which about 60% has come from these two Muslim countries, according to Kpler analyst firm.
Other major suppliers are West African producers, most notably Gabon.
Nevertheless, Israel may have other options if Muslim countries impose a full-scale embargo.
Thus, the US, a key ally of Israel, has been the largest additional supplier of oil to the global offshore market this year. Exports from Brazil, which has been supplying oil to Israel for the past few months, are also growing rapidly.
