A major Commonwealth Bank outage has left millions of Australians unable to access their money or transfer funds.

Customers received a ‘current balance unavailable’ alert while trying to access the app on Monday morning.
Desktop users trying assess their fund online were met with the message: ‘Sorry, something’s gone wrong.’
Netbank users are also unable to access their accounts, transfer funds online or use their cards to make purchases.
The Commsec brokerage app and website is also down for many customers, while others reported ATMs have also been affected.
Commonwealth Bank has launched an urgent investigation into the glitch impacting ‘multiple services’ and told Daily Mail Australia further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
‘We’re aware some customers are experiencing difficulties accessing some of our services and we are urgently investigating,’ the bank posted online.
‘We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We’ll provide an update soon.’
The update added: ‘We’re aware that customers continue to experience issues accessing some of our services. We’ll keep everyone updated here and also on commbank.com.au/updates.’
The bank has since urged frustrated customers to be patient and not ring its call centres which have been flooded with high volume of inquiries.
